We won't be going to the local show. More rain. Had to settle for a trip to DQ.

Pretty much. Didn’t have time to make a trip to Nevada this year. Now I need to go out of state for fireworks, ammo, and plastic straws.

Had skirmishes the past couple weeks, all out war going on now. There'll be a few ambushes from holdouts till September, then a last assault on Christmas. That's the 4th in Minniesoda.

Lady friend wanted to watch the DC parade & stuff, after a while asked if the entertainment was all black. We didn't watch it very long. I wanted to see the military stuff, but I think the networks mostly boycotted it.

Don't know when the fireworks will stop, were still going off at 2am this morning, might be an all nighter tonight.

We didn't have to go anywhere. After we finished our fireworks we were able to go down half a block and watch the fireworks from across the field.

We are in Edmonton tonight.
What a great bike trip. We rode 1750 miles in 5 day with beautiful weather, awesome roads and by the seat of our pants.
Best hotel was Super 8 in Grangeville. Very affordable, extremely clean and very helpful. We woke up the next day with towels on our bikes! That’s first class in my mind.
Best supper was in Grangeville. Superb Mexican food! Palenque Mexican Restaurant was the name.
Best lunch would be Stax in McCall Idaho! Excellent sandwiches.
Best scenic road: Road to the Sun. Wow! Beautiful.
Very close second place was the road from Idaho City to Stanley. It reminded us of Tail of the Dragon.
Best ride partner: Paula. When in Glacier National Park, I kept stopping at scenic places to see what she wants to see. Finally she looks st me and said “I’m here to ride the roads, not sight see!” Apparently I had a smirk after that comment. Lol.

Excellent Tim! Glad that you and Paula are having such a good trip. Everybody needs those kind of breaks once in a while.
