I got 35,356 miles out of the rear pads on the bike, I’m not sure I could have made it to 36k. They were pretty thin !
Reminds me of a coworker I had a few years back. For anonymity we’ll just call him retard. So retard doesn’t really believe in performing any kind of maintenance on his bike, or doing any kind of safety inspection, ever. Leaving werk one day I have the displeasure to be riding behind, retard. All of a sudden when we’re coming up on a stop sign on a stretch of road that was 55 mph retards bike starts chucking some hard parts off the back end. Turns out he never changed nor inspected his brakes a single time, pads completely gone, the rivets chewed all the way through his brake rotor. I’m just glad nothing hit me as I sped past him.
