Switchbacks had floor boards but only a toe shifter, he wants to add a heel shifter, need a longer double spline shaft. I can't imagine hHarley would make different shifter shafts for different bikes. Might be all the same diameter with different lengths just single or double splined. be interesting to find out.

A long shaft from a touring bike and a spacer should work. Or a slimline primary cover. Or both.

using a heritage shifter /shaft with a spacer (yet to be determined)
