Haha....back from Homely Depot. Had to replace my 25 y/o Makita circular saw, I love that saw. It apparently, at it's age, didn't like cutting a half dozen 2 1/4" x 16" limestone treads and gave up shortly after. Maybe I should take the hint. Was going to buy the exact replacement and then realized that I don't need a heavy 11 lb circular saw. For little use it's going to get in the future a nice light saw would be better. Ended up buying a $59 Ryobi saw that weighs under 8 lbs.

 

Wow, sudden thunderstorm and cloudburst....don't know exact but wouldn't be surprised if we got 2 plus inches in less than an hour. Just what we need....flooding everywhere.

 

Jeez, Mick, you've been getting hit with a lotta crap lately.
