Yup. Next time we get together, I’ll tell you about it. Long, sad story.

The best laid plans ...can go to hell in a heartbeat. I had figured that I would have an easy porch floor replacement today. Boards were all primed last night, All I would have to do is tear the old flooring off( I put inon 30 yrs ago), nail new floorboards on,paint it and be done by supper. I just got finished and i still don't have floorboards on. New flooring popped off easy because the original flooring under it was all rotted including the joist and box frame. pretty much tear everything off, go to lumberyard and build a new frame. The original one lasted over 100 yrs, the new one should last 200 ......OH...and i burned up my favorite Makita circular sae.. pics of old frame and new;

I like the Ryobi stuff, great for the house, and if it breaks cheap enough to replace. If i were a professional that did this stuff for a living, I'd probably have Milwaukee or Rigid. But, i give my stuff a pretty good workout.

Everything at work is Milwaukee. Excellent stuff if someone else is paying for it.

yep. The rim boards are attached to house frame with 3" lag screws. I have a Ryobi cordless 1/2 impact wrench...works great on lags screws.
