I see that they won the series. I was cheering for Avs as I have never liked Calgary (Oilers vs Flammers). Lol.

And they did it in a more convincing fashion than I had envisioned. Pretty crazy, what's going on in the playoffs so far.

Yeah, pretty rare that bringing in a former player as a coach or GM works. Sakic is doing ok, but there were rumblings during the 2 month slump that both Sakic and Bednar should go. How quickly things change when you're winning again.
