Snow forecast for mosta the day, but it's been little or none for a few hours now. Hell of a wind last nite, was glad the roof had a few inches of wet snow that froze into hard pack, protect the shingles. Biggest fear was something loose coming through a window, but pretty much everything was frozen down by then. Wind did blow lots of buds, seed pods and pollen off the trees, the pic of my garden area has lots of dark spots, that's what they are. Can't see in the photos, but there's a dusting of light brown over the snow, tree pollen I think. Already heard a house somewhere near has a tree on it. I keep hearing cracks, thuds and scrapes as the wet snow that stuck against the house and windows and froze comes loose and falls off. Hard to tell how much I got, isn't even. I'd say 6", maybe a little more. Melting a little now.

this season's garden is ok, though. While the sn*w's melting, I should get these in individual cups, probably be 3-4 weeks before risking putting in the ground. Lotta stuf this year is gonna be seeds in the ground, just a few early starts here mostly for salads.

After a pause, it started again, rain & sleet, then just rain. Melting fast, sliding off the cars. Hope it's gone by Monday, so I won't have to clear the driveway when my daughter brings my granddaughter here.
Al, I still hope you were right. I don’t want to wear it out.
Monday it was in the 70s and took a nice ride. Today I just came in from blowing snow. More coming!! Grrrrrrrrrrrr!!
