Someone thinks Grandpa has the coolest playhouse ever. (Monday, before it froze again)

Grandpa, when are we going riding?

Hey Moldy & Terry!

Jose, we had a Kenmore fridge that went out a few years back in the 19th month after purchase and the warranty was only 18 months. They offered to sell us the home repair plan but they couldn't do that for the next 3 days because it was 4th of July weekend and we called on a Friday evening. Then they'd have to dispatch a tech to diagnose...order parts...etc. We ended up going to Lowe's and just buying a brand new fridge and paid a little bit extra hoping it would last.

Right now it's snowing the heaviest I've seen this season. Nasty heavy wet stuff, sticking to everything. Hopefully the warm spell coming this weekend will get rid of it before I have to move a vehicle, this wouldn't be fun to clear out.

I think a lot of times the price of those warranties is better used on a newer replacement. Too bad a lot of appliances aren't as well built as they were 30 years ago, I've gotten 30 years out of a washer and a refrigerator.

I've been through 3 new fridges in my almost 12 years of marriage. The fridge that has followed me for 13 years was built in 1993 and it works fine. Its ugly and is the garage fridge

Afternoon, guys. 1/4 mile visibility here. Really started coming down right after I got home at 3:00. Quarter size flakes. Weather guesser on the radio said to expect 2"-3"/hour snowfall at times. Oooof!
