TOAK, The Thread of All Knowledge Part XIII
Morning all, sorry to see Michigan has political problems, MN has a ton of idiot voters who put even bigger idiots in power.
Big day of the assembly of a RC plane, hope to get it done quick enough to crash it and rebuild before winter sets in again.
Hope all are well and safe.
Stans over the crud I hope?
Got the risers straightened out on the wide glide, now to wait for the rain or snow to stop so I can get out for a bit.
Have a great day..

Judy got married and had 13 children. Her first husband, Ted, died of cancer. She married again, and she and Bob had 7 more children. Bob was killed in a car accident, 12 years later.
Judy again remarried, and this time, she and John had 5 more children.
Judy finally died, after having 25 children.
Standing before her coffin, the preacher prayed for her. He thanked the Lord for this very loving woman and said, "Lord, they are finally together."
Ethel leaned over and quietly asked her best friend, Margaret, "Do you think he means her first, second, or third husband?"Margaret replied, "I think he means her legs, Ethel, her legs"

Got my first fill up of the year Friday in the van, (none yet with the truck), $2.59. I guess about $50 in over 3 months isn't something to worry about. It didn't get as good mileage on that tank as the truck did hauling a trailer at 80mph in S.Dakota last summer, but if the truck had done most of the tank in less than 5 mile jaunts in cold weather, it would probably have done even worse.
Utube has lots of RC videos. Some of them look big enough a guy could lay on top and hang on for a buzz around the field. Those big Moki radials sound like the real thing. 500cc radial engines in a model plane, amazing. Pretty wild seeing a 4 engine 20' wingspan $30,000 bomber lose elevator control and disintegrate on the ground, too. Some years back a guy with an F4 Phantom model told me it was clocked at over 200mph. Saw a video of a jet model doing a high speed pass and right in front of the spectators looked like it hit a wall, just blew apart. Guess that one couldn't handle 200mph...
