Re-morning, Al.
I'm pretty sure it's just a local operation, but we've been getting dogs from all over the country. Mostly Kansas and Utah, but have had one from Illinois and one from Arkansas.

I just checked the closest Lab rescue is over 100 miles away. My Lab is 12 y/o and I wonder if he'll make it through the year. I want another pup but wife is against it. Thinking that it would be good for our dog to have company and " train" the pup. I know which battles to pick and this is not one that I pick now..

Not many animals show their emotions like dogs can. My brother had a Dalmatian puppy mill rescue, had spent most of her life in a cage producing litters. She looked terrified whenever someone new came in the house, took her a long time to accept him and his wife. He had a spayed female Dalmatian already, and the rescue always wanted to be next to her. When the older one died, the rescue didn't last much longer, but she had several good years with him. He had a house on a dirt road with little traffic and not many neighbors, real private, just what she needed.

Snow forecast for 3 days this coming week, hope they don't salt after the nice rains that cleaned the streets yesterday, but if they do, the 7 days of rain forecast for the next week should get rid of it quick.
