So we picked up a new to us foster dog today. Scaredy dog of the first order. Apparently he was adopted back around Christmas time by a women couple. (Don't know that situation). They turned him back over to the rescue earlier this week and the woman who fostered him the first go-round retook fostering of him. She has to go out of town so we have him now.
She said though that something happened in the 3 months he was adopted cuz he is now a totally different dog. I can't imagine what they were able to do to him, but he is just a bundle of fear, particularly around me. Just sad.

Exactly. Hopefully he'll calm down as he gets used to us. Gonna be hard to adopt him out though.
