TOAK, The Thread of All Knowledge Part XIII
When I lived in Washington, had several sheep living next door. Of course everything green on their side of the fence was cropped to the ground, but my half acre pasture was lush. One day noticed them struggling to reach as far as they could through the fence, and pulled a bunch of green and gave it to them. Never, ever feed a neighbor's sheep. After that as soon as I'd open my back door they'd come as close as they could get and very noisily beg for more. Was embarrassing, buncha baaing sheep following me along the fence whenever I was out back. I couldn't go out there when the neighbor was home, he wooda been suspicious about that...
And that's my only sheep story, I haven't gotten near one since.

That's gorgeous. When I got home from Vietnam, found a '55 Chevy 210 wagon guy wanted $500 for, in real nice shape with a six and 3 on the tree. Dad talked me into a Triumph, said I'd have a lot more fun with it. Brit 2 seaters were for weekend driving and fixing, not cross country trips, I sure regretted not getting the wagon with, for the day, solid dependability. And room for more than a couple suitcases. But I did have a lot of fun with the little bitty car... when it ran.
Found a pic of the English thing. Near Sebring, Florida. Did have fun whipping it around the track at Sebring, this was before it got all fenced in.
