Looking for a puller on-line. None of the auto parts stores around here have one that small.

Many ways to get the dowel out. I'm sure it won't be an issue. Id try a drill bit.

Nope. It's only sticking out about an 1/8" About as long as my dick.

I can drill it out, but am trying to avoid ruining it. Don't know how long it is.

Also if you have some alignment punches you could find one that fits inside perfect then use some medium vice grips to grab it. The punch will prevent it from crushing.
