TOAK, The Thread of All Knowledge Part XIII
Officer, my Greg is a good boy who is gettin' his life turned around, he just got caught up with the wrong crowd.
I cancelled my Kindle Unlimited this week. I've gotten my money's worth for $10/mo. Wanted to get back to reading some of my favorite authors but wasn't going to pay $8/$10/$12 for a digital download. Back to reading paper books which I kind of missed for the past few years. Library is only a block away. My brother and I keep our library card on top of the emergency lighting box next to the desk because we were constantly losing them. We're the only ones who can reach up there We donate a couple hundred dollars a year to the children's program so we get away with it.
What on earth happened?
One look at the 'stache and she started running!
I heard a teller say "That's all I have in the drawer." And I turned and asked she had just been robbed to make sure I heard right.
Followed the person hoping to get a pic of a license plate or whatever, ended up following her down an alley that splits the city blocks, she turned and flashed a "weapon" of some sort and asked me to leave her alone. She even said "Please." Another bank employee caught to me, I was about 20 feet from her. Eventually she got into a Jeep and while she was backing out, I did manage a couple pics, and the bank employee yanked the plate off the car.
