Morning Lou, that does not appear to be a holiday celebrated here in the heart of it all!
Oh well. I'll take it. Have to work Saturday anyways. Scheduled power outage on campus. I'll be filling generators all day. Those big Cat V12's sure suck down the diesel.
Used to have an annual power outage here to PM all the electrical equipment and sub, getting ready to move so they don't care anymore! We only have one standby gen set for the main computer room.
We are our own utility. We have a sub station. I am responsible for 16 stationary diesel generators. About 1/3 are big ones. This weekend I'll have about 7 portable gas ones as well. Hope it's not a **** show this weekend. PG&E is replacing some equipment at our sub station. 12 hours without power. Should get at least 2 days vacation for this. OT is a waste.
