Stan, my folks have been gone since '94 and '98 respectively. I often catch myself wondering how they would be and what life would be like for them if that were not the case.

From what I see age achieved is less relevant than quality of life. In a nutshell that is the corner I'm seeing them turn.
BTW, I fully expect Mark to be kicking some righteous *** at the next Woods gathering !
Mick, Did your folks enjoy decent living in their later years ?
My Dad died at 61, Mom at 64....there were no later years, Stan. Sadly, my dad suffered from emphysema for about the last 5 and it was sad to see. Cancer took my Mom in less than a year.

Hahahaaa...my Dad used to tell my little cousins...Your garments are showing and You slumbered in the bed last night. They'd get pissed and he got the biggest kick out of that.
