Good job Mark. I have no idea what that is but I've screwed up almost every ribbon cable I've tried to splice. And that's with both hands!

Rain most of the day here in Arkansas but we never got the fierce winds that Russ did in Texas. Sun came out about 4 PM so I took a ride to check out some civil engineering in Mick's home state. Location was out in the middle of some Oklahoma hills.

One 8 footer is way more expensive than two 4'. Don't know how it works out in real life for brightness, but the higher wattage 4' bulbs have more lumens from 4 bulbs than 2 8'. I like clear covers in the grudge, they're brightest, but those glare pretty bad in something like the basement, I got frosted for down there. Changing the layout now, running new wires and going from one switch to two, seldom need both sides of the basement lit up - there's a wall down the middle.

Roof melt isn't running off quick enough in the back, puddling at the back of the house and have water running down from a basement window, water gets into the window well outside and when it reaches the window seal, it leaks through. Fortunately, it's right by the floor drain, doesn't get much of the floor wet. Been like that since I bought the place, not a big deal except I don't think it would work well to try finishing that wall with insulation and drywall, just framed with 2x4s. Cheap construction, no inside or outside sealing on concrete block foundation wall.
