Haven't had a blowout yet, fortunately. Did have a rear tire go down, but I felt it before it went completely flat and stopped

It is. Good news is, two up and loaded, we averaged 52 MPG. Engine “felt more responsive” when not sucking in hot, oily air.

When I did it on the RK, I had the tuner on it monitoring intake air temp. After the mod, the intake air temp dropped 20°.

Dang Mick, glad it only ended up a flat tire. I worry about that happened to my wife. She has never experience a tire going down. Glad you are okay.
