Morning Russ.
Not bad so far. First day back from being a woodsman for a week.
How are you and Kristi doing? Getting much riding down south?

Not much riding, more chores around the house wrapping up Summer and prepping for Texas-Winter. We hope to solve the former issue next week with a trip to the Gulf Coast to eat pounds of shrimp. Other than that, it is almost chili and pot roast season.

We are in the same boat too. More oven or slow cooker meals than steaks and briskets. Got to get some fat on for the winter.

Russ, my back is killing me today. I'm walking at maybe half speed. Did two charity/fund raiser events this weekend then loaded the welder to do some work on a ranch for someone. I think that's where I did myself in. My welder is not mobile and it was a nightmare to load and unload and load and unload it. Worst part was, the area I was at couldn't handle the amperage so I couldn't finish.
What aggravates me is, I was doing it as a favor. I asked to make sure he had the power on site. I was told he did. Apparently when I asked if he had 50A service, he thought the 15A circuit was enough anyway. So I feel like I was lied to. I was told the parts were in the field, they were not. He could have loaded the parts of the fence and brought them to me. I'd have finished in very short order and not hurt myself. The best, and here's the final kicker. I agreed to the welding, with the expectation he would do the fab work. Nope. So Fk me I guess.
Next time I'm charging my normal $200 minumum rate plus $50/hr or $100/hr for fab
