When I had my Tacoma, I swapped out the radio with one that had nav. I didn’t do anything else to it because I hated that truck and I got rid of it. Most uncomfortable vehicle I rode in lately.

Late arrival, had breakfast first. Sun is sure taking its time making an appearance already, doesn't seem that long ago it was bright out around 5 am. Have aching shoulders again this morning, doesn't take much for that anymore. Didn't freeze last night but supposed to get about 6 hours of 30-31 degrees tomorrow morning, might be the end of the tomatoes. They finally produced a lot the past 6 or 8 weeks, lot of ripe ones the past week, but I'll probably lose a few dozen green ones. Still a better year than the past couple.

Russ, a lot more flying than I'd want to do. Unless it's first or business class, just isn't enough room on airliners for my size anymore, even a two hour flight was miserable. Not going to pay for the roomy seats and airline employee discount is useless for that, frequent flyer upgrades always fills up the front seats. Would like to visit friends in Australia, but not enough to be crammed in a cattle car. Ironic, made a career in an industry I loath to use today.

It is still miserable. The airlines are still running a reduced schedule and packing the aircraft like cattle cars. Hard to get upgraded any more. The best I can hope for is an aisle seat somewhere near the front of main cabin.

Carol's Honda Accord feels like it's pounding me on roads around here. But a neighbor that was too tipsy to drive had me drive him to a hospital in his around 2000 Honda Civic, and it was pretty good, even had more room in it. Cars are all about gadgets and styling now, none of them I've been in the past 20 years impressed me with comfort. Daughter's Tesla is about as good as any I've been in, and it's terrible compared to a pickup truck, which is why I won't look at anything but a pickup anymore.

I used to get emergency exit seats, at least the seat in front didn't recline in my lap, but now those are extra cost and even before I retired I couldn't get them.
