Bedtime, but a quick in an out here first. What a day. Took Carol grocery shopping and to get her flu shot. Didn't take much over an hour this time. She doesn't just look at things, she studies them. I only go to what I planned on getting, get the same brand most of the time so I can just grab it walking by. About 6 times faster.
Stopped at Sam's Club on the way home, got some meat, out of milk.
Had to make another trip to the nearest grocery to get milk.
A ride seemed necessary, in the 50's, felt good with leather on.
Shuffled the bikes for more room in the garage, moving the sportster had a big piece of cardboard I put between bikes to avoid scratches fall over and trying to get untangled laid the sportster on its side, inches from the Harley sidecar, seat side next to it. No room to get in the leg lift position, if I was ever strong enough to pull it up I sure ain't now. Got lucky, the next door neighbor was working from home, came right over and we got it up. Amazing, no damage. Just a few inches and it would have laid on the Harley's sidecar fender, would have been the end of that and whatever part of the sportster that would have crushed it. First drop in Minnysoda and first Harley drop. Well, gentle lay down anyway. Everything is twice as heavy as it was 30 years ago.
Jeeze I'm tired, nite nite.
More chainsawing until I felt worn out, doesn't take a whole lot to that anymore. Supposed to have the son in law and oldest grandson come over this weekend and get a bunch of cut wood out of the gully, picking that stuff up on a fairly steep hill has gotten difficult for me. At least it'll be in the 60's, good working temp.
