Just landed at a rest stop on I 40 close to Maggie Valley. About a hundred miles left to the park in Franklin, NC. We will overnight here. Today was a wonderful, incident free day of travel. Did I mention the inverter is running the fridge perfectly? . Each time we stop for lunch or an overnight I run the generator and catch up the charge in the batteries for the next day of travel. Al , don’t jinx me , I have not yet run over my phone

We too have started the North Carolina portion on our vacation early. Having cocktails in the rest area, slides open, tv on …..let the party commence
