I’ve been on Wayah more times than I can count. One time I miss judged how much daylight was remaining and I ended up riding about 26 miles in the dark , on wet leaves covering the road !. You can imagine what it was like negotiating hair pin turns in those conditions . I was lucky to make it back to camp alive 😇

We too have started the North Carolina portion on our vacation early. Having cocktails in the rest area, slides open, tv on …..let the party commence
