Chuck, sorry to hear that.

I have an answer for those people who look to "inspect" a bike to find fault with it..... " I ACTUALLY RIDE IT !"

That's the truth Al. Riding it causes all sorts of issues. Mine aren't show winners, but the zip ties are clipped and hidden, and the hose clamps are neat. I learn from the best. But nothing can prepare one for that dent from a mistake like that. That just sucks.

Chuck, lie and say it was a rock from a construction vehicle while you were on the highway between back roads.

Re-morning Woods.

Successfully navigated TSA this morning, had my cup of clam chowder and am now waiting to board my flight back to America.

Chuck, so sorry to hear your run of bad luck continues. I’ll have to bring you a talisman to ward off evil!

Man, the weather here sure has improved. 60's this morning with a high of mid 80's and no humidity. The riding season has arrived. I cannot wait to get outta here today and enjoy 12 straight days off with nothing to do but ride and play golf.

Get there Bill. We're all pulling for ya! By we're all, I'm referring to the people in my head. But there's a few of us and Rocky only had Mickey. You got this!

Morning gents!

Safe travels Russ.

Sorry your snowbird adventure started on a bad note Chuck.

Exactly. That bike is flawless. Conclusion? Sorry Chuck, I'm just going to say it - the (formerly) new Ultra is just bad luck. The added weight of the tourpack and fairing isn't helping. My advice as a friend is to trade that bike in on a new(er) Heritage Softail. Less weight and rides great.

Shoulders a little sore today, did all the chainsawing I could yesterday, drop in the bucket compared to what I could do 40 years ago. Oh well, still enjoying the fall weather, could be worse.
