Gave the mustang a bath. She's presentable, but not really clean. She needs at least one more bath, buffered, and interior cleaning. My back says I'm grateful to have finished the first wash

I am hearing from friends that people are starting to lose their minds at gas stations and grocery stores. It always happens. I actually have the TV on the local news channel to get an update.

This area is at the southern end of the Great Plains. We have to plant good trees here. More trees equals more leaves in the pool.

My neighbor has willows & sm leaves, but they blow into the pool, way too tall
Told him to cut the tops off & they will spread out & look better
And not fall & hit his pool (the trees themselves)

About 100+ that I planted are smaller, max out at 15'
About 2 dozen that can get big
Most are flowering trees, maybe 25' Max, then about a dozen birch

But those front yards need some shade trees

Once those live oaks start to get big, they will look great. We’re replanting some Nellie R. Stevens Hollie’s out at the back fence. The drought killed a few of them as they were just babies but we replaced them with 3 gallon size. We were impressed that the ones the neighbors have didn’t even look touched during Freeze-Mageddon a couple of years ago.

Got a soft maple in front yard. Leaves will be coming down shortly. The old neighbor lady (both old age and old as in one of the originals....since moved out) bitched to me every year about the leaves and raking. She hated my leaves in my lawn. But she never had to clean them!!! Usually raked and blow leaves 2-3 times and then done. I love my trees....for shade and looks.
Russ, I can see you are different..... that sure don't look like a US flag!!! I have never run a state flag....too much political turmoil here in the Great Lake State!! But that's ok of you run your single star flag!!
Local news..... 83 y/o woman shot in the back while passing out right to life literature in a small country town. Prosecuting attorney says he will not prosecute until he is sure all facts are correct and there is no question of events. It was said she knocked on the door, the woman who answered got pissed and started arguing. The 83 y/o started walking away and a man came out and shot her in the back. If you ask me, the 83y/o will probably be arrested for trespassing and the shooter will be told to be more careful. What a shame..... no common sense used at all.
