Hit up there too ? Red's sister lives just outside of in Butte Falls ... Northeast of Medford about 30 miles

 

The smoke from those fires was brutal out here on the Plains on our way out. It has cleared off some for now with the passage of a cold front.

 

Yesterday was really bad here Larry. Today seems a bit better. We have one wildfire about 30 miles north of us, and another 50 miles east. Winds were from the east so it made for a smoky day.

 

Yay. So far we have received 0.23" of rain. Every thousandth counts!

 

Beautiful day outside, but I don't ride on weekends. No barking dogs, no lawnmowers this weekend, either, that's a first when the grass is still green. I think I'm the only one home in the neighborhood. Guess I could fire up the chainsaw...

So with cold weather I have been going scorched earth to get rid of the food supply & clean up
I have 1 trap, may buy more. My own fault for letting an area get overgrown & not tossing the tomatoes in the woods or giving them away
