Bill, make sure all the clamps holding the exhaust heat shields are tight.

first thing I checked sound is coming from right under the tank. I’m gonna drain the tank on a long run and then remove the tank and see what’s there if anything. Definitely sounds like a loose bracket of some kind but like I said everything visible is tight.

Morning woods

TGIF!

Gonna tinker some with the Switchback today after work then head to the Legion with Savannah for dinner when she gets home from work.

More warranty work for the RG. Front shocks were confirmed to be leaking ( I think they FD it up in the rebuild honestly), minor oil leak at the gear shift.

They have been unable to duplicate the lower end knock and to be honest it is intermittent so there is that. Still investigating it. Tech believes it may be related to the Parade Mode so it’s been turned off. Wait and see what happens. Should be ready next week.

loosening the exhaust bolt under the rear shock helps with the inherent vibration that comes with our bikes. Or a complete exhaust swap witch is what I ended up doing. Good luck with it

The pump in the fuel tank?
