TOAK, The Thread of All Knowledge Part XIII
I owe this woman so much. Hell she bought ninety percent of the mods for the truck. Might as well just give her the keyes at this point
FDOT specs require all steel to be made in America. This particular bridge is unique and the first one in my career that required all fiber reinforcement instead of steel. All made in America. Even the sheet piles that contain the embankment at the end bents are fiber. Tough stuff and never rusts. The steel in the prestressed concrete piles is stainless only. This bridge is designed to last 100 years. It is just a two lane bridge over a brackish canal in a ritzy shore neighborhood and it is only 300 feet long. It comes in at just under $12M. I was part of the construction management team that performed repairs on the same bridge back in the early 90's. This time they built a brand new one. It was in terrible condition and weight restricted due to that condition.

Cool Tim. A little much for your lot but what the heck, anything worth doing is well worth overdoing.

Gonna have to make the gate a bit wider to get it in the back yard.
