The camera used to take the photo was digital, using an adapter to mount the 1970's era lens to the 2022 tech, hence the look. The camera in the picture, the subject of the shot, is the film camera my grandfather had.

I have a Samsung S22 Ultra, and the camera in that phone is incredible. But photos are a a physical property of light and no cell phone can replace a true camera. But, to get a digital camera that is better than the cell phones anymore, you're going to be in for a chunk of change. I do have a special need for the higher end camera but that doesn't change the fact that I just enjoy taking pictures. Also, they should provide me one and I shouldn't use my own... But that's a different stroy.

I've also been asked to shoot a wedding and I'm branching out into portrait photography for people as well. I'm building a portfolio currently and offering free pictures to people I know. The wedding is a paid gig.

I just made an appointment this Saturday to get tires out in my Road King while I wait at New Port Richey Harley Davidson. I have never had any work done there. I think I have purchased a battery and a few tees there while visiting during a ride but no service. I wanted to avoid dropping off the bike and having to come back. I would rather wait in the lobby in the A/C and surf on the phone. Hopefully I can get it done and get out of there before the afternoon thunderstorms.

Yup. My friend asked me to shoot her wedding but just candid shots, not a paid gig. She was a little pissed off because the pics I took were way better than the gall she paid to shoot the wedding. I was just having fun.Good luck with your shoot!
