Bob, hopefully these are safer than a Galaxy cell phone. A 12v 100 amp battery has about 66 1.5v batteries inside ( about the size of a C cell) they are all managed by bms (mini computer) WHAT COULD GO WRONG?.

I hope you don’t own any cars with a white top
I don't. And I also have a garage.
Russ , the generator is a 5500 watt. It used to run the entire RV , meaning all three AC units with no problem. It doesn’t play well with the new inverter. The generator would supply two legs , L1 & L2 125vac each. When the inverter sees two in phase ac circuits, it thinks you are plugged into a 30 amp service and disconnects L2 , thus when you turn on more than one AC the generator is overloaded .
A guy I follow on u tube says there’s a work around. First you wire the generator outputs L1 & L2 in parallel, adding the current (must be in phase connection) they are. I had already done that part but Tech Support says I have to change a setting in the inverter from 50 Amps to 40 Amps when I’m running the generator. I haven’t done that yet. He said do that and call me 🙏
I’m telling you Russ , it’s one thing to be mechanically inclined and another to be electronically astute.
Now you’re both!
