Wait. They can’t?! Da fugg.
I can ask here, Mick, you're wise...
I have a nice camera (shuddup Russ) and I am in a debate here. I can put some money into the lenses I need, or I can get the more expensive, albeit better, mirrorless body. With the adapter, my current lenses work on that new body. The benefit would be when buying a lens in the future, I'd be buying the full format instead of the cropped sensor format I currently use. I've been asked to shoot a wedding in the spring I think it is, so there's time either way. I've been working extra jobs saving specifically for the camera.
The advantages are, the mirrorless displays real time changes made to settings, which is nice because I only shoot in manual. Sometimes shots can be missed with the wrong setting or if the sensor picking out the wrong light source.
The advantages with the camera I'm currently using is of course, cost. I have it. However it will have some limitations as I take my photography to the next level. I could also potentially sell the camera to the agency and then just keep using it for work lol.

You're going to shoot pictures of people working in their garden ?
Yeah, I have a thing for gardeners...
There is a bartender in Eureka Springs that can vouch for my photographic acumen, Chris. With her endorsement I heartily recommend you do what you want.
