Hey Bawb.

I read where you hiked 5 miles up the Mountain, then 5 miles back I guess?

I did 5 miles of cardio today, but it damn sure wasn't uphill. My hammy's are a bit sore.

That's all I do now, cardio and hitting the speed bag. I can't recover like I used to.

It was actually 2.5 up and 2.5 back. Five total. But the 2.5 was about a 1000 foot elevation gain. Helluva nice hike. Cheryl's a bit under the weather so it was just my sis and I. Next trip (maybe this weekend) we'll get climbers passes, which are required over 4800, and we'll summit Mt St Helens. Not really a major feat. But it will be 8 miles, 4 of which will be a climb. The last 1.5 fairly steep and rocky.

Up early today.
Sixty years and 9 months ago my dad had a smile on his face. Not sure about mom.
found a penny today I thought was lost.
Worth about 400 bucks.

To paraphrase: a penny found is 400 bucks saved.
