Send it to me, I know a guy……

Good evening all. Pretty busy day taking care of business. I am preparing dinner, I turned on the TV and the Maury "Who Da Baby Daddy Is" show came up. I am holing out hope they have to search and wide for guests but I suspect there is an endless supply.

That really sucks, Chris.
I'll ask since no one else has: Have you contacted the manufacturer?

As far as milling/drilling/tapping that, it is likely that it is made from 304 stainless steel which requires some relatively special tools and skills to work with. Being welded on already doesn't help matters.
Can you take a picture of the other side to show what we're dealing with there? I can't tell from that picture what is going on with the configuration.

Stainless fasteners can be a pain and not all they're cracked up to be in certain applications ... As Lou stated, a quality carbide bit may help but treat it kindly ... Galling isn't uncommon especially in stainless to stainless applications ... good luck

I did contact them. They said to fill out the warranty form. I did. I listed a full explanation, the sales receipt, and pictures. The stainless is beyond my skill set and tooling to address. I'll get a different pic.

Holding on to that thing without screwing it up will be a fiddly thing. What's in the holes are what's left of the bolts?
