I have a badass Minolta sLR with data back, several lenses an **** I’ll donate to the department. Just give me a receipt for value of the item at a slightly elevated rate and we’re good! Oh, and I want to spend 10 minutes with your supervisor too.
Was it digital to start with, or did you get a data back to fit a film camera? I have a few Minolta SLRs, and would like to fit a 4K data back to one of them, don't know if there are any out there that would fit. Be nice to be able to use all the lenses and filters I have for them.

Russ, I'd be happy to accept your donation and I'll give you a receipt for whatever you ask, inflated or not. I love cameras and photography. As far as that 10 minutes, I'd rather you didn't go to jail. He'd trump up some BS on you cause you gonna hurt his feelings.
Mike, I could be wrong and perhaps the wrong terms are just being used, but SLR refers to a film camera, which then does bring to question the data back. Unless it's just a card that indicates standardized film ASA/aperture/shutter settings.
