I had a beater S10 along the way, just for commuting. It was ugly but fun to drive. My In Laws have had a few Rangers but they never felt comfortable to me. They seemed under powered (both had V6's) and the interior just didn't seem well designed, felt cheap.

Never driven a Taco but only ever heard good things about them

S10 makes a good hot rod, but I've found the ranger to be a better driver.

Dem rangers were in bed with Mitsubishi for a while in the 90’s. Really the same truck. Just a badge and color’s made the difference

I think it was Mazda. The B2200 was the same as the Ranger or damn near it

I was gonna start painting the rear drums but I’m not sure when the rear shocks are coming. Tracking shows in Springfield 60 miles away at 3:30 this morning. 60 miles away. I’m not gonna start something I’ll have to do twice ie; remove the wheels.

agreed. Just gotta keep the salt off it. They had a good idea with boxed frames but they never painted or did anything with the inside of said frames. Although stronger than C channel. They rusted prematurely. Chebby had the same problem with there brake lines recently

The 4.0 in my ranger towed a cj5 from Indianapolis to Barstow, and a 65 Impala from Fairbanks to Clarksville. Still running
