Gents, to coin Bob's vernacular, I'm out. On the road first thing in the morning.

Real quick though, got the bike running enough to ride to Wal Mart. I took my infared thermometer. Got the bike up to temp then measured everything I could. The pipe st the rear cylinder hit nearly 380 right at the port. Moving down the pipe it decreased quickly to about 250 at the muffler. The bag hit 120 at the hottest point. I was able to lower the muffler a tad because you guys made me paranoid.

I filled the left bag with bottles of mustard because we still had plenty in our stores. Got home and they were all just fine. No more warm than they would have been before.
