Sportster is a nice play bike, and with not much tweaking can be a decent road bike. That's a good price for an '04, usually a lot more than that in the twin cities CL.

Audrey came over today to show off her new car, and let me drive it. Fastest thing on 4 wheels I ever drove. Might even beat an '04 Sportster 0-60. Definitely would to 85, I've driven cars that would have taken longer to hit 35, it's like being in first gear all the way. Regenerative braking takes some getting used to, although she can turn that off, it's like a firm step on the brake pedal when you let up on the throttle all the way to full stop. Having to use a computer screen to do almost everything is incredibly clumsy and annoying to me, even have to select adjusting the mirrors off a menu. Fun to drive for a while, but wouldn't want one. One thing I really like about a Tesla Y is she could sell it tomorrow for more than she paid for it. Tesla really rips people off on software features; while we were together she got a text offer from Tesla to bump the hp up via a software upgrade for $2000. That really put a dent in my regard of Tesla. Same thing for the full autopilot option, $10,000 to unlock it. Oh, and no spare tire. She hadn't noticed that, but I did, small trunks front and back, no room for a wheel.

We had a storm move through an hour ago that dropped over 1/2" of rain along with a bit of small hail in 15 minutes.
