The coffee maker actually has a story - When Cheryl and I got married, we and two other couples flew to Scottsdale and rented a nice AirBnB for 10 days. They had a SMEG coffee pot and we all thought, what a weird name for a coffee maker. We just assumed it was a cheap pos that you don't care about at your AirBnB. Turns out it made really good coffee. So we got one of our own because it made us laugh, but it also reminded us of our fantastic wedding vacation.

 

I thought quartz, but was not 100% sure. Very nice! I'm considering that myself.

So, Emily has Covid. Not sure how long it will be or if my wife and other kid get it. They have a flight back on Wednesday. No clue how that is gonna go down.

 

Thanks everyone for your kind thoughts. It is a struggle sometimes. Her sister and our daughter are also helping.

 

Contractor number two just left. Nice guy, he's a one man operation and I think this is more than one person can handle
