Mom called again. My dad broke the ball off his femur but no other injuries thank God. So he is going to have total hip replacement tomorrow. Crazy as that sounds, it's good news. He's health and active, despite the diabetes that I made sure they know about, and he should be walking inside the month. I'm still planning on going up and helping with whatever I can as soon as I can peel away.

 

Re-Evenin Woods! Had a Snarfs Meatball sammich for dinner. Just enjoying the peace & quiet

my dad hobbled near the end. He could of used a hip or two. But be warned the muscles around the pelvis get stretched quite a bit. For starters they place the leg way out of the way

Thoughts and prayers for your dad Chris. Hope everything works out well. FYI.... I used to work at a company that forged and machined hips, knees, ankles, and bone plates. I think I have one of their knee joints! Hope all goes well.
