OK guys....how about a little chuckle for the day.... Int to dealership to get parts for turn signals. They did not have stock and would have to order it. They told me that another dealer had it in stock, so I elected to take the drive there. Road construction present in the 50-60 miles I traveled. Got down to the other dealer and lo and behold, they are closed Tuesday and Wednesday!! So I sat in the parking lot and called my local dealer and ordered the part. 7-10 days, so I'm without bike for a bit. So back on the highway and construction I go. Well wouldn't you know it?? Either I missed the exit and/or it was closed. I found myself on an unfamiliar stretch of highway in construction traffic. Finally I see a state road that runs back to Lansing, so I took that and plodded along. Two lane road, several small towns and I finally got home. Wifey "chewed" my *** asking why I didn't call and make sure they had part and I would have found out they were closed and saved myself the gas, time, and drive. Couldn't argue. So part is on order, bike is laid up, and here I sit!!!
So there's your chuckle for the day!!!

I'm kind of resentful for Denny just hearing how his wifey chewed his ***.........
Hello from Covid Central. Day 3.
Hello from Covid Central. Day 3.
Phew. I was worried for a minute.
So today met the neighbor across the street. It was with great relief that I found out they are from Texas. However, I have my suspicions that they're from Austin specifically.
The neighborhood definitely has a strong Eastern European/Russian presence. And there's some sort of religious thing going on here. Cheryl thinks it's 7th Day Adventists (NTTAWWT). And I think they are involved in some sort of real estate hijinks, but I can't be sure. In the end it's a nice, safe, neat neighborhood with all very nice homes. It just seems a little weird. The most unsettling thing is no alcohol bottles in any of the recycling bins. Ours will be full to the top which may raise an eyebrow or two here. And I suspect they think Cheryl is a harlot.

Stan, there are times we husbands require 'direction'. You, of course, do not but we mere mortals oft times do.

Hah! I called Cheryl that the other day. I personally don't care as long as they leave us alone. Cheryl finds it fascinating however.
Howdy Mick....I'm there with the rest of the Cro-Magnon types and get ample direction from Tammy (but I don't have to embrace it). LOL
