I wonder if that is a personalized plate??
I drive a Ford truck, ya caught me. I was sneaking north a little to get in Russ' pool while he was gone.
Curious... the service was gonna cost nearly a grand. I have a service manual and the vast majority of tools needed. Worst case, my buddies is a local indie and helps with the special stuff.
The front end has felt loose for a while. I hit a bump so hard my bars slipped with lock screws in the top clamp, so it shouldn't have slipped. Stupid San Antonio traffic slash construction.
Anyway, I get into the fairing last night to look at the front end thinking the neck is loose. I found the top of the legs about 2mm out of spec. If this is anything like my Springer, it's enough to cause a slight change I could feel.
Not sure though, so I figured I'd ask. Either way, I pulled them out and getting them powder coated.
The tapered portion of the top of the leg should be only half exposed in the top clamp. So this is pushed in and sitting the bike lower than it should be.
