I bought a nice little MC jack and I'm tearing into mine this week to do the service. HD wanted $875 for the 25k. By the time it's all said an done Rick, you'll have more in service payments than the cost of the bike. Then again, you could work those numbers around and just buy another bike instead.

Seriously, what all is done in the 50k it costs that much?

Edit: 50k is everything, including rebuilding the front forks. I'm doing that already this week...

Same here John. They ruined parts, told me I could sue them if I thought I had a chance. I left pissed and with damaged parts that are still working, but still scratched. It's okay. I told TLT how much the service was going to be then told her how much the powder coat was going to be, then told her I'd strip the bike, do my own service, get the parts coated, and still come in for less than the service at HD. Best part, no wondering if it was done.

I hear ya. I trust my Indy as much as I trust anyone, can't do much of it anymore, so glad for that. He's an old school gearhead like me
