Afternoon Woods,

Busy week last week. Rode to Baltimore MD to a buddy's house and we drank bourbon till late in the night, got up and took the Metro into DC to take be at the Desert Storm Memorial groundbreaking ceremony. Pretty good event although it was HOT AF. Got beers and lunch at some liberal beer pub in town with rainbow **** strategically placed after they got us sucked in with the thought of a cold beer. Headed to Arlington Cemetery and the security staff made me pour the bourbon out of my flask before entering and then double checked it because I must have looked like Otis from Mayberry without the hat. We did watch the changing of the guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier........Metro ride back was fine except for mask clad, car jumping hooligan who was talking endlessly to himself or maybe was on the phone with someone.

 

Here then, an update:

I have located a powder coater that has higher end equipment and a larger oven. So I'm going to get the price on coating my wheels, bars, and fork sliders. It will include getting off an hour early today and a nice ride into the country. So that's a win-win!
