Well the surprises keep coming . I was hearing a howling noise coming from what sounded like the brakes on my truck ( would go away when you stepped on the brakes) . Turns out when I put the truck on the lift the right front wheel took too much effort to turn. I disassembled the rt ft brake , compressed the caliper pistons ( there was only a 1/16” of pad remaining ( 48k on truck) . The left front ( functioning properly) had 50% + lining ( as expected) . New pads will be in tomorrow, $100.00 bucks, I’m hoping the pads were just stuck in the anti rattle clips, and not a seized caliper. If when I replace the pads the rt ft still drags, I’ll have to replace the caliper ( $75.00 for a remanufactured).
