Half hour wait and I get called to draw blood. Son texts me " As soon as room opens , it's yours. Told them that I don't want you waiting in a hall"... a little while later, I'm in a nice comfortable room......it pays to "Know" people!

More blood work, calls between ER Dr. and my kidney specialist, they decided they can give me a prescription to lower the potassium. One med I'm on, lowered my BP but raised my potassium to dangerous levels. All in all, I spent close to 5 hours in there. When we left, there were people still waiting who were there before I was. Kinda getting tired of this BS, but got lucky again..
