John, speaking of livers. Shark livers contain a substance called squalene. Interestingly enough, that is the same substance that a woman produces to lubricate her vagina. You're welcome.

Are you asking for advice? I say go for it blindly!

I'd discuss with him potential side effects and causes for concern for both doing and not doing it. I'd make an informed decision with the Dr's input and opinion.
