Had our annual promotion ceremony Saturday. Getting closer to that purple belt.

 

for f&@ks sake! I just lost my breakfast!!

 

I’m happy to settle for a third of that.

Well just got home from what was to be the Lansing Independence Day Parade. Got there early and parked near the front of the line. One other guy showed up on a bike. So he and I rode together. Was a Marine (won't hold that against him! ) Parade started off ok, but once we got to the Capitol, protesters blocked the street. Couple of cars in front turned around after about 15-20 minute wait. Police were at the "baracade" and came back and asked if we would pull over one more lane to let the protesters through. The entire parade turned and went down another street. We stayed with the Police and waited. Some lady asked me if I was nervous with them coming towards us. Told her they don't intimidate me! Me and the other guy stood on each side of our bikes and made sure no one came close to us. Rather sad day for what it is. But I was still there with my flag flying and wearing my Legion Rider Vest. No incidents that I seen. Just a bunch of idiots in my book. Heck, I might even be on the news tonite!!

 

Happy 4th of July to all. Safe travels to all that are on the road.
Still nursing my back. Waiting for an MRI appointment.
