Evening gents! Hot one here in the PNW. High of 104. We spent the day by the ocean at 68 degrees.

Cheryl is filling out the adoption app for the new addition to the family. We decided on a a Belgian Malinois/Border Collie mix pup. She's a rescue from Texas. Two very smart breeds in one. Dog will probably be smarter than us.

Thanks Greg! Should be a no-brainer, but damn....they go a little overboard on the vetting. They want my work number to "verify employment"??? According to a friend they don't actually call. They just want to be sure the dog is being placed with a responsible family, which I respect.

I have to admit, I'm looking forward to it. Dogs are a hassle, but they bring something to the home that we have been missing since Rocco died 7 years ago. And Cheryl promises she'll pick up the dog ****. And mow the lawn. Win/win.
