Halito Woods. Kudos to Benjamin!! Quick on his feet!! Chuck, be careful getting back out.... make sure you come home!! Russ, sorry to hear....hope everything works out well and your symptoms are minor.
Rode to friends cottage yesterday. Spent half the night drinking beers and shooting the ****. Today we rode to American Dunes Golf Course. Designed by Jack Nicholas at no charge to the facility. Veterans oriented facility. Plagues line a walled entrance to the club house and restaurant. Many plaques for various Vets, some pieces of aircraft, and a lot of themed things to buy. I got a nice looking t-shirt and couple of poker chips. The cute waitress we had took good care of us. Made sure we had drinks, food, refills. She was so cute and nice, I left a $10 tip for a $19 bill! The waitstaff was awesome....young and very attentive. I only wish I had done a Lou and got some shots of her! They play Taps at 1300 hrs there. The waitress came around just before and told us. That whole place cleared out, all the diners outside, and golfers nearby, came out and faced a HUGE flag on the 18th hole for the playing of Taps. I saluted. Then a bell tolled 13 times. Not sure what that was about. And not sure why they played taps at 1300 hrs. If you're somewhat interested, check it out..... https://americandunesgolfclub.com/
Came home this afternoon. Have to take care of son's dog while he and his family are in DC. Granddaughters graduation open house is tomorrow. So that forced me to check out today and miss tomorrow's trip to Gilmore Car Museum. Hot today.... low 90's, no clouds, and humid. But a good ride and no problems with anyone or the bikes.
So the lurker is back.....

So far we are symptom free Russ. But we have seasonal allergies so of course every time I sneeze I think Uh-oh, here it comes. Cheryl mentioned last night that she had a minor sore throat and I just kept my mouth shut. No mention of symptoms today.

I'll be pissed if we get it. Two vaccinations, a booster, AND we had it 6 months ago. If anyone is resistant we should be. If we get it again I'll be very "resistant" to getting another jab because that's just further proof that it's 100% bullshit.
On local news, a second Omicron variant is infecting vaccinated and recent covid patients, but those people only get mild symptoms, still nasty for first timers. Big question is, will it die out eventually, or morph into a real killer. I figure my best protection is to get the latest variant every year, build up natural resistance. So far, that's been happening, even with boosters, too. The vaccine doesn't keep a lot of people from catching it again, but it does seem to lower the death rate a lot. Seasonal flu, colds, and covid, probably be a rare year without catching something for a lot of us.

At least you got it at home, be a real pita to happen south of the border. But you could have done better on the timing.
