The officials at the La Isabella airport are all in a tizzy this morning. Since I will be here until the 22nd, they needed to make a visitor's badge for me. I don't carry my passport when in country and instead leave it locked in the hotel safe, I had two other forms of ID, my driver's license and my Texas concealed handgun license. I just pulled one out and gave it to them to use for ID purposes and now apparently someone who can actually read English thinks I'm carrying a handgun. HAHAHA. Had to have a meeting with the security people this morning to explain why I should not be disarmed.
