TOAK, The Thread of All Knowledge Part XIII
You could get one of these to measure your voltage and current.

I suspect your phone draws more amps than the system can charge when you’re using it as your navigation source. Those tablet sized phones take a lot of power.

I did get a tester similar to that and it shows just over 5 volts, 0 amps. I’m not sure I trust it as I tried it on the chargers I use in the the house and saw the same results. My limited understanding of such things leaves me with a lot of doubt as to what to believe.
I am investigating a way to connect directly to the wiring harness like I did with the Softail and mount a port in the fairing, like where the auxiliary switches would go.
Mornin Woods! Day 2 of the Garage Sale is under way. I sold a drill press yesterday for $125, or we say in the Biden-days, half a tank of gas.
I went to the store first thing this morning to grab a few things & they wouldn't sell beer until 0800. WTF!?
Benjamin has a baseball game at 3PM. It's going to br brutal as they are calling for a high of 97 and no chance of rain (which, short of a helluva storm, would just make it muggy) and clear skies. I better use some high SPF sunscreen lest I get too dark & be a target for deportation.

Shop is open from 10-4 on Saturdays. They have a couple of nice panheads and a flathead on the showroom and a knuckehead being built on the lift. Plus other assortment of older bikes on the lift. Scooter and Lyle are good men, some of the club members might be there too. I'll be out digging the trench for the well today now that the rain has stopped. It's been a very wet spring. Last Saturday we had a torrential downpour that completely filled and 8' square hole by 6' deep at the campground. The ground is finally starting to dry out there. Enjoy your visit.
At the homestead, we're getting the utilities moving but the builder has been a PITA about the site. Three other contractors have no problem with it but he's got a laundry list of "concerns" - we're looking for a new contractor.
Morning, Bob.
Moring Greg, Steve, Bill and all others back a page.
Open house day today. Seems like the market is cooling off some. We're currently on the 4.5 month plan for AirBnBs. We would like to be in a house at the end of that but we're not settling. We could be vagabonds for a while.
